RELAX!

Yes, the day has come where you can sit back and relax. Your wedding is over, hopefully your dreams were met and accomplished. You have the wonderful husband, the memories of your wedding and gifts coming from everywhich way. The best part to remember when relaxing is to reflect on your wedding day. Who did you see? Who were you most excited to see arrive? Was it everything you could have imagined? 

• Preserve your bouquet. If your Mother, Grandmother or Friend hasn't already, take a can of good hairspray (I prefer Got2Be Glued, its a yellow can) and spray your bouquet entirely. Make sure you get the backs of the flowers and the bases of the stems. Then take a piece of wire or ribbon and safety pin or use a clothespin to make a loop on the bottom of the bouquet. Take a plastic or metal hanger and hang your bouquet in a dark space in your closet. Wait about 3 weeks and your bouquet will look rather similar to your wedding day!
•  Make your Scrapbook. There is no better time to make a scrapbook then when memories are fresh in your mind and you have plenty of downtime settling into your new routine with your new husband. Scrapbooks are relatively easy, and with the internet so accessible you can make your very own memory book online. I've used Target.com and the memory books turned out beautifully! (You can use some of the gift cards if you don't have any extra cash on hand!)
• Write Thank You Notes. Yes, the dreaded mother in me came out. Nothing says I appreciate you more than a simple Thank You. Writing a card doesn't have to meticulous, just say thank you and sign the card. You can print up the address labels from your invitations on the computer and you are set!
• Call Your Closest Girlfriends. The truth of the matter is that friends often feel forgotten or unimportant after their best friends get married. Call your closest friends and chit chat. Your friends will appreciate it and obviously want to know all the gritty details. You can also plan a small spa night with wine and Mani Pedis. Remember: it's the thought that counts.
